Both growing up on ranches in Wyoming, Brad and Becky Sintek have deep roots in agriculture.
Becky’s family originally raised Horned Herefords and were some of the longest standing exhibitors at the Denver Stock Show. Fun fact—her parents actually once sold cow-calf pairs to John Wayne! Pretty cool! There is probably no one that loves cattle more than Becky. She lives and breathes the ranch life and spends every hour she can at the barn preparing the cattle for shows and sales. She also is a long-time 4-H leader and FFA supporter who has helped countless kids find success in and out of the showring.
The couple have two daughters, Brittany and Kaci, who grew up immersed in the livestock world. Becky and Brad now live in Lebanon, Tennessee where they especially love being close to their four grandchildren! While they still make it to almost every dance competition and football game their grandkids compete in, most of their time is now spent raising Registered Red Angus Cattle. They acquired the von Forell Ranch fall calving herd in 2018. They are always working to enhance their cattle crop and are passionate about producing quality cattle to show and sell.
They are honest and kind, always having others’ best interests in mind. It’s such a joy for them to build trustworthy and meaningful relationships inside the livestock community!
Brad loved to break horses with his grandpa, and it was likely there that his love of rodeo began. He competed all around the country in his younger years, and he even competed in the Senior Rodeo Circuit too! Putting his mechanical mind to work, he actually made his own bucking horse machine to practice on. Brad is a wildly talented builder. He was the General Manager of a company in Oregon that manufactured logging equipment where he individually had two different patents. After retiring, he couldn’t wait to build the entire interior of their log home in Tennessee!
